Accomplished cinematographer Chienn Hsiang’s sophomore feature, INCREASING ECHO provides a substantial glimpse of a married couple living in an unparalleled world. Director Chienn’s extraordinary and classy cinematography captures the desolation of those drifting souls. 

Mrs. Yan, who has a vigorous belief in energy and the spiritual world, faithfully mediates her surrendering to avoid the pain. One day, a phone call disrupts her world and awakens the inner demon of her. 

資深攝影指導錢翔曾擔任《藍色大門》與《總舖師》攝影，相隔數年後終於推出第二部自編自導的劇情長片《修行》。全片採用不尋常的攝影技巧，從第三人稱與偷窺視角，緊迫地觀察同一個屋簷下的夫妻，見證密不透風的窒息婚姻，日復一日，如何把曾經相愛的人變為行屍走肉。

嚴太太（陳湘琪 飾）平時素以「修行」為樂。虔誠的她看似心平氣和，將身邊大小事情打理得有條不紊。某日一通要找嚴先生（陳以文 飾）的不知名電話，戳破了她長久以來披著的外皮，打亂了她的世界，喚醒了她內心壓抑已久的惡魔。
