A dreamy and diverse romantic comedy, featuring 10 collective stories by internationally renowned directors including Yin Chen-Hao (Man in Love, 2021), Joseph Hsu (Little Big Women, 2020), Chong Keat-Aun (Snow in Midsummer, 2023), Wong Yee-Lam (My Prince Edward, 2019), Pawo Choyning Dorji (The Monk and The Gun, 2023), Rachid Hami (For My Country, 2021), and Remii Huang (Let’s Talk About Chu, 2023), Lee Sin-Je (Abang Adik, 2023) and Liu Chuan-Hui (Jump Ashin!, 2011).
Set against various corners of Taipei and narrated in different directorial styles, these tales collectively weave a tapestry of love that illuminates the city's freedom and diversity. A star-studded cast including Hong Kong pop legend Sammi Cheng and Stephy Tang, Malaysian actress and popstar Lee Sin-Je, Golden Horse awards winners Liu Kuan-Ting (Old Fox, 2023), Ethan Ruan (The Pig, the Snake and the Pigeon, 2023), Chen Shu-Fang (Little Big Women, 2020), Kuo Shu-Yao (Step Back to Glory, 2013), Caitlin Fang (American Girl, 2021) and Berant Zhu (Bad Education, 2022) and much more.
Taipei City is a congregation of love and romance. As the sun rises, a deliveryman begins his day, wandering through the urban landscape of Taipei and encountering ten different stories of love. These stories range from the heartbreak of separation to the euphoria of new passion, from the reality of pandemic-driven intimacy to the supernatural affairs of folklore and spirits. TALES OF TAIPEI explores what it means to love in this unique time and place, and how that love can transcend gender, nationality, and reality.

About Amy Ma 製片介紹
Amy Ma is a Taiwanese film producer based in New York and London. With extensive experience in TV and film production, she excels in international co-productions and cross-country resource integration. Amy has collaborated with renowned filmmakers like Huang Jianxin, Zhang Meng, Sylvia Chang, and Academy Award-nominated Bhutanese director Pawo Choyning Dorji. She facilitated the shooting of "Wake Up 2" in Jordan and “Run For Love” across eight U.S. states. She also produced “Special Couple,” the first official China-UK co-production film. Her notable works include “Never Gone 2,” “Highflash,” and “My Sunshine.” In 2020, her short film “Taipei Suicide Story" was selected for the Cinéfondation competition at Cannes. In 2021, "American Girl" won four Golden Horse Awards. Her 2022 film "For My Country" was selected for the Venice Film Festival, and "Tales of Taipei" was the closing film for the 60th Golden Horse Awards in 2023.
