In Conversation with Author Paelabang Danapan
孫大川(巴厄拉邦·德納班)雪梨講座:臺灣原住民族文學與文化
This seminar will be presented in two parts:
In the first part, Dr. Paelabang Danapan will explore the rich history of Taiwanese Indigenous Peoples. The discussion will delve into the significance of both written and spoken Indigenous languages, examining how these forms of expression have shaped and preserved their stories, traditions, and identities.
In the second part of the seminar, we will be joined by Professor Jakelin Troy, the Director of the Sydney Indigenous Research Hub at the University of Sydney.
Professor Troy’s research focuses on documenting, describing, and revitalizing Indigenous languages, as well as the use of Indigenous research methodologies. She has also designed and developed the Aboriginal Languages K-10 syllabus for the Board of Studies NSW.
