坎城電影市場展上舉辦國際發布會和交流茶會

「金馬前進坎城」計畫（Golden Horse Goes to Cannes）由台北金馬影展執委會和影視及流行音樂產業局，在文化部「匯聚臺流文化黑潮計畫」的支持下攜手推廣。帶著五部陸續即將上市的新作品，到全球最具影響力的電影市場展「坎城影展市場」。此次計劃致力於銜接臺灣電影於國際，作品類型涵括史詩、愛情、喜劇、動作、奇幻、多元性別，透過台灣蓬勃且多元的影視產業與世界交流。
“Golden Horse Goes to Cannes” is collectively initiated by Taipei Golden Horse Film Festival Executive Committee and the Bureau of Audiovisual and Music Industry Development, with the resolute backing of the Ministry of Culture’s 1plus4 T-content Plan. Five projects were proudly brought to the stage at the most authoritative film market Marché du Film on May 16th, 2024. This project aims at connecting Taiwanese cinema with the global film industry, featuring a variety of genres including epics, romance, comedy, action, fantasy, and gender diversity. Fostering international exchange through the diversity, vigor and bold competence of Taiwan cinema.

《破浪男女 THE CHRONICLES OF LIBIDOISTS》
曾以《血觀音》拿下金馬獎最佳劇情片的楊雅喆導演，集合影帝吳慷仁和香港新生代演員柯煒林，以童話《小美人魚》為靈感，講述現代約砲文化下渴望激情卻同時孤寂的靈魂，細膩描繪了一段都會男女的愛情寓言。導演笑稱：「破浪的程度在亞洲，只有臺灣能拍出這樣的愛情電影！」
Directed by YANG Ya-Che who has won the Best Narrative Feature at the Golden Horse Awards with his previous work THE BOLD, THE CORRUPT, AND THE BEAUTIFUL (2017). Drawing inspiration from the fairy tale "The Little Mermaid," the film delves into a nuanced interpretation of an urban love fable. Exploring four passionate yet solitary souls, each lost in their quest for sexual fulfillment, yet bound by a yearn for purer love.

《鬼才之道 DEAD TALENTS SOCIETY》
徐漢強導演在票房冠軍《返校》之後，帶來別出心裁的陰間黑色喜劇《鬼才之道》。本片由實力派陣容陳柏霖、張榕容、王淨等聯手演出，講述鬼魂在陰界演藝圈並驅爭先，努力成為時下最強猛鬼傳說。此片更是時隔多年再度取得美商索尼影視投資的臺灣電影，令人期待。
Following his successful debut with the film DETENTION, director John Hsu brings to life a sophomore dark comedy about a supernatural underworld, showing how a novice ghost and its experienced counterpart collaborate to become the most legendary and terrifying ghosts. The delicate balance between the human and the supernatural, as well as between humour and horror, will star Golden Horse Awards-nominated actresses Sandrine Pinna and Gingle Wang, along with renowned actor Chen Bo-lin.

《功夫 KUNG FU》
以《那些年，我們一起追的女孩》打出影視名堂，並不斷推出現象級電影取得無數大獎的鬼才小說家和導演九把刀，在小說《功夫》問世22年後，終於將其翻拍成電影，並攜手熟悉的老搭檔柯震東，首次登上坎城影展。此片描述兩位不起眼的魯蛇高中生，跟隨流浪漢習得奇特的武術，在現代江湖懲惡揚善，同時解開了流浪漢的身世之謎，極具九把刀的個人風格。
After making a name for himself with YOU ARE THE APPLE OF MY EYE and continuously releasing successful films, the talented novelist and director Giddens Ko has finally turned his novel "Kung Fu," which was published 22 years ago, into a film. This new project, featuring his frequent collaborator Kai Ko, is debuting at the Cannes Film Festival. Showcasing Giddens Ko's distinctive style, KUNG FU is described as a fantasy adventure where two high school "losers" become disciples of a homeless man and learn exceptional martial arts skills, embarking on a thrilling journey through a modern-day martial world.

《大濛 A FOGGY TALE》
《大濛》以民國40年代臺灣為背景，透過女主角阿月突然接獲哥哥被槍斃的消息，毅然決然北上認屍的旅途，描述了一段白色恐怖時期，屬於受難者家屬的故事。金馬導演陳玉勳攜監製葉如芬、李烈，以及強大陣容包涵金馬怪物新人方郁婷、新生代港星柯煒林、金曲音樂人9m88，讓觀眾感受臺灣動蕩不安的40年代，人民不願屈服於時代洪流的堅毅情感及勇氣。
A FOGGY TALE is set in Taiwan during the 1940s, amidst the White Terror period. The film tells the poignant story of a young woman named Yue, who learns of her brother's execution and bravely travels alone to Taipei to claim his body. Directed by Golden Horse Award-winning director Chen Yu-Hsun and featuring producers Yeh Ju-feng and Lee Lieh, starring Golden Horse newcomer Caitlin Fang and rising Hong Kong star Will Or. The narrative dives deep into the struggles of the victims' families during this turbulent era, showcasing their courage and emotional turmoil as they navigate the societal upheavals of the time.

《女兒的女兒 DAUGHTER'S DAUGHTER》
故事講述一位年過六十的母親，突然得知小女兒到國外進行人工生殖並發生了車禍。處理女兒後事之餘，更要對女兒留下的胚胎去留抉擇。意外顛覆了生活節奏，她被迫回憶起年輕時的糾結，同時面對長年逃避親情問題。影后張艾嘉與曾入圍多項獎項提名的《強尼·凱克》導演黃熙合作，以及侯孝賢製作團隊，從女性視角出發，深掘親情與人工生殖等議題，並且深刻描繪當代華人女性所揹負的期待與束縛。
The story revolves around Jin Aixia, portrayed by Sylvia Chang, who faces a tumultuous period when she learns of her daughter's death overseas and the existence of a grandchild in the form of a frozen embryo. This revelation forces Jin to confront her past and the complicated dynamics of her relationships, offering a profound look at the challenges and societal expectations placed on women. Directed by Golden Horse nominee Huang Xi, with contributions from acclaimed filmmakers like Hou Hsiao-Hsien and actress Sylvia Chang, this film is noted for its critical exploration into themes of mother-daughter relationships and in vitro fertilization from a female perspective.
